Vineyards

Ébano Viñedos y Bodegas works hard in the selection of the grapes that come from its 43 hectares of vineyards.
With yields of 2.500 kg per hectare in the “low bush” vineyards and 4.000 kgs per hectare in the “trained on the wires” vineyards joined to the plants age make Ebano Viñedos and Bodegas obtain one of the best selections of grapes of the D.O. Ribera del Duero.

Day alter day, we take care over all the elements that will have influence on the quality of our grapes: leaves analysis, pruning and also soil analysis in order to be able to determine the plants needs. Picking up is done by hand and the grapes are transported to the winery in 17 kg cases obtaining this way the best conditions during he harvesting of the grapes. Once in the winery, a last selection in the selection table is done before the transformation of the grape is started.

This means that the wines made by Ébano Viñedos y Bodegas are potent and with a marked strong character.
